Suddenly at St. Joseph's Health
Centre, Sudbury, Ontario, on Thursday, August 3, 2000, while
golfing on vacation at the French River, Walt Shrubsall of
Burlington, formerly of Hamilton, age 58 years. Beloved husband
of Carol (Blackie) Shrubsall. Proud father of Laura Gray and her
husband Peter of Canmore, Alberta and Walter Adam Shrubsall and
his fiancee Julie Russell of Burlington. Loving and proud
grandfather of Jordan an Lauren Gray and Haley Russell.
Cherished son of Ella and the late Wally Shrubsall of Hamilton.
Dear brother of Dorothy Chapman and her husband Bill of
Hamilton. Walt was retired from the Hamilton Fire Department with 30 years service and was a driver for Laidlaw Bus Lins, Burlington for 22 years. He was an active member of the Wednesday Nite Mixed 10 Pin Bowling League, Burlington Bowl. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of the QEW), Burlington (632-3333) on Sunday 1 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm where Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 7, 2000 at 1 pm. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Walt's memory to the Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation - Burn Unit, would be sincerely appreciated. |
