Loving father of Bob and Audrey, Grandfather of Lisa and Don, Dana and Dave, "Big Papa" to Brianna, Samantha, Julianne and Jack. Survived by his brother Bill and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Jim and sisters Jen and Robina. He was a proud Hamiltonian from Wood Street in the North End. After serving his country in World War II as a welder and vehicle mechanic, Tom became a Fire Fighter with the Hamilton Fire Department. During his 33 years in the Department, he worked his way to Captain as well as Acting District Fire Chief. Following retirement, Tom became a valued member of The Pool Shoppe team where he supervised the parts department and pool pump repairs. Tom's smile, kind heart and generosity will be remembered by all who knew him. From health care to home care, our family would like to thank all of the individuals who helped Tom maintain his healthy and independent lifestyle.
