Peacefully at the Henderson General Hospital on Sunday, September 25, 2005, at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband for 64 years of Ena. Loving father of Helen (Michael, Bill, susan (Marcel) and Robert. Dearly loved Pappy of Don (Claire), Lorie (Jim), Lisa (Jason), Eric, Jamie (Felicia), Adam and the late Linda, and also by his nine great-grandchildren and on great-great-grandchild. Dear brother of the late Edmund, Edna, Lavina, Eva, Dean and Bernie. He will always be remembered by his many nieces and nephews and "The Lindsay Clan".

Stan was a veteran of WW II; a firefighter for the City of Hamilton for 34 years until his retirement in 1979.; a member of St. Margaret Mary Parish and a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus.

Visitation at the P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Avenue (between Fennell and Mohawk) 905-388-4141 on Tuesday, September 27, 2005 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 9 pm. Vigil Prayers Tuesday at 2:00 pm at the Funeral Home.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Margaret  Mary Catholic church, 20 Idlewood Ave (Upper Ottawa and Fennell Avenue East). on Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at 10:30 am. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Plains Road West, Burlington.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the SPCA would be deeply appreciated by the family.
