Peacefully at home on Saturday, April 16, 2005 in his 78th year. Dearly loved husband of Desneiges (Denni) in their 50th year of marriage. Beloved father of Linda Lauppe (Don), Michael (Pat), John (Lisa), Tim (Lori). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Jennifer, Daniel, David, Keith, Ariana, Eric, and Kara. Survived by his sister Antoinette Chatelain (Toni) of Hamilton and brother Fernand (Vern) of North Bay. Predeceased by his parents Wilfrid and Louise, sisters Dora, Clemence, Leona and brother Orval.

Rollie retired in 1987 from the Hamilton Fire Department after 35 years of service.
