Peacefully and surrounded by family at the Henderson Hospital on April 21, 2007, four days shy of his 73rd birthday. Predeceased by his loving and cherished wife Lois (Barclay) in 2004. Proud father (father-in-law) of John (Cindy), Mike (Tracy), Bruce (Jennifer) and proud grandfather of Ashley, Aaron, Claire, McKenna, Sonya, Quinlan and Elyse. Also survived by his devoted and loving sister, Susan (De Groot), sister-in-law Dorraine and many nieces and nephews. Also will be missed by many friends, neighbours and colleagues. Rodger served for 35 years on the Hamilton Fire Department and volunteered his time to many causes.
