Long before we were ready, on Saturday, June 16, 2007, we had to say good-bye to a fun loving, sweetheart of a guy and a character as unique as they come; an all around Great Guy; one of the good ones. Thinking of him daily is his 'bimbette' wife Brenda and their four legged friends. He will be remembered always by many caring family members and friends. He is fondly in the thoughts of his in-laws; mother Mary Welsh, Linda MacMillan, Sandra and David Peters, Tracy (Lisa), Bonnie and Gary Petrachek, Dan and Liza Sharp (Kassidy, Alexis), David and Lori Sharp (Owen), and Brenda's stepbrother Paul Welsh (Susan). He will be remembered by his son Michael (Carol), grandchildren Auston, Brooke, and Curtis. Also survived by his sons John, Brian, Richard and  Paul's brother Victor.

Paul was a proud and committed member of the Hamilton Fire Department, Local 288 for 30 years and will be remembered by many of his friends and co-workers.

A very special thanks to Dr. Tony Whitton, Wendy and Greg Fisher for the love, the laughs, the wine and the scotch.

According to his wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of Paul's life will be held at his home in Cayuga on Sunday, June 24 from 2 - 6 pm (dress casual). If desired, donations to the Hamilton General Hospital Burn Unit or Cayuga Kinsmen Club would be appreciated.
