With heavy hearts the family of Michael announces his passing on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Guri-Ann for 52 years, and loving father of Dennis (Grace), Chris (Julie), Shannon (Rob), and Erin (Tim). He will be sadly missed by all of his grandchildren, Melissa (Diego), Neil, Sara, Olivia, Whalen, Ryan, Sadie, Nathan, Abigail, and James, and his great-granddaughter Ada. Dearest brother of Pat (Lynda) and nieces Megan and Tara. Michael was a proud member of the Hamilton Fire Department for 34 years and a lifelong Tiger-Cats fan. A Funeral Service will be held at Dodsworth & Brown Ancaster Chapel, 378 Wilson Street East on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 1 p.m., reception to follow immediately afterwards. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family. |
