PETROWICH, Matthew Peacefully on January 4, 2013 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Hamilton, in his 86th year. Husband to Freda for 63 years and father to three great children, Paul (Chris), Gail (Ed), and Peter. Also missed by two wonderful grandchildren, Zal and Crystal. Matthew served in the Royal Canadian Navy during WWII.

He retired after 36 years of service with the Hamilton Fire Department.

Cremation has taken place. A private family gathering will be held.
