Peacefully, and in the presence of his family, at McMaster University Medical Centre, on Thursday, July 13, 1995. Loving husband of Patricia McDonald. Dearly loved father of Kimberley and her husband Rob Furukawa and Mark and his wife Linda Stevens. Beloved grandpa of Lauren and Alexander Furukawa and dear Papa of Shannyn and Kerry Stevens. Also survived by his brother-in-law, sister-in-law and several nieces and nephews.

Louis was a 38 year veteran of the Hamilton Fire Department (Platoon Chief - retired 1989).

Cremation has taken place.
