Peacefully, on Thursday, November 30, 2006, at Extendicare Kawartha Lakes, Kenneth Brad of Lindsay (formerly of Hamilton and Dundas) passed away in his 86th year.
A veteran of WW II, Ken served in the RCAF for five years in Northern England and Scotland on coastal command as a wireless air gunner.
Ken retired from the Hamilton Fire Department in 1986 after 38 years of service.
Ken leaves his loving wife of 61 years, Shirley (Leiper) Braid of Lindsay and three loving daughters, Sharon Roppel (Don) of Port Elgin, Sandra Braid of Goderich and Kathie Braid (Ian McGuire) of Wilfrid. A devoted husband and father, with a great sense of humour, Ken also enjoyed fishing, gardening, sports and his family pets.

Ken was interred at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Hamilton after a private family service.
A special thank you to all the staff and residents of Extendicare Kawartha Lakes and ParaMed for their loving car and friendship.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA, Victoria County Humane Society, the Alzheimer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family and may be directed to Stoddart Funeral Home, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay, Ontario, K9V 2L1 at 1-877-427-8434 or 705-324-3205.
