Peacefully, on Thursday, November 30,
2006, at Extendicare Kawartha Lakes, Kenneth Brad of Lindsay
(formerly of Hamilton and Dundas) passed away in his 86th year.
A veteran of WW II, Ken served in the RCAF for five years in
Northern England and Scotland on coastal command as a wireless
air gunner.
Ken retired from the Hamilton Fire Department in
1986 after 38 years of service.
Ken leaves his loving wife
of 61 years, Shirley (Leiper) Braid of Lindsay and three loving
daughters, Sharon Roppel (Don) of Port Elgin, Sandra Braid of
Goderich and Kathie Braid (Ian McGuire) of Wilfrid. A devoted
husband and father, with a great sense of humour, Ken also
enjoyed fishing, gardening, sports and his family pets.
Ken was interred at White Chapel
Memorial Gardens in Hamilton after a private family service.
A special thank you to all the staff and residents of
Extendicare Kawartha Lakes and ParaMed for their loving car and
friendship.
