Suddenly, after a long struggle with heart disease, Jack Hargrove, in his 71st year. Beloved husband of Carolyn and loving father of Dan (Brenda) of Nanaimo, B.C., Brent (Sharon) and Nadine (Dan), all of Hamilton. Predeceased by his daughter Debbie. Dear grandpa of Bud, Jackson and Kaleigh, all of B.C. Predeceased by his brother Bill of Burlington. He will be sadly missed by many relatives and friends.

Jack was a retired Captain of the Hamilton Fire Department after 33 years of service, and was involved as the Past President of the Local Union and Canadian Association of Fire Fighters.

He was also a Lance Corporal and Signalman serving in the Korean War and an active member of the Korean War Veterans Association.

Jack was a very special and unique person to many people, always putting others first. Because of this, there will be a void in many lives, and the time spent with him will be cherished and remembered forever.

Visitation at the UPPER JAMES CHAPEL of Cresmount Funeral Home, 1020 Upper James Street on Saturday 7-9 pm and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Monday, February 19 at 1 pm. Interment in Mount Hamilton Cemetery.
