| EDWARDS, John Francis (Pilot Officer, DFC, WWII) Entered into rest at the Port Colborne Hospital, on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 in his 93rd year. Beloved husband to the late Olive. Loving father to Jacqueline LeClair and David Edwards (Debby). Dear grandfather to five and great- grandfather to six. John served with the RAF (Squadron 115) as a rear gunner during WWII. Following the war he became a Hamilton Fire Fighter where he served for many years before his retirement. Cremation has taken place. A private family service and interment of ashes will be held at a later date |
