Peacefully at St Joseph's Hospital on Wednesday, April 17, 2002, Harley Booker, in his 77th year. Dearly beloved husband of Daisy of 50 years. Dearest father of Beverley Bourgeois and her husband Camille, Edward (Ted) and his wife Maureen, Karen MacKenzie and her husband Richard and Janice Oakes and her husband Brian of Dunnville. Beloved "grandpa" of Michelle (Angelo), Michael, Steven, Erin, Robert, Ross, Kyle and Kailee. "Great-grandpa" of Brooke and Emma. Dearest brother of Lillian Ellaway. Predeceased by two brothers Ted and Harry. Also remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Booker was a veteran of WWII with the Queen's Own Rifles and was the founder of the Parkdale Arena - Temiskaming Hockey Tournament.

Special thanks to the I.C.U. at St Joseph's Hospital, E.M.S. and the Hamilton Fire Department.

The family will receive friends at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Friday from 6-9 pm and Saturday from 1-3 pm. A Funeral Service will take place from the funeral home chapel on Saturday, April 20, 2002 at 3 pm. Cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hamilton Health Sciences Burn Unit would be appreciated by the family.
