DESJARLAIS, Gilbert "Gil" Passed away at his home on Saturday, December 22, 2012, at the age of 64. Beloved husband of 19 years to Denise Desjarlais. Dearly loved father of Lisa Desjarlais. Dear brother of Brian (Gloria) Desjarlais, Connie (Roland) Duplessis, Joyce, Robert (Kristy) and Clayton (Louise) Desjarlais. Dear brother-in-law of Bev Desjarlais, Mike (Linda) Tracey, Michelle (John) Fettes, Colleen (Phil) Haegans and Connie (Greg) Rocheleau. Dear son-in-law of Clare (Ken) Turner. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by his brothers Ronnie and Albert Desjarlais and his brother-in-law Paul Tracey.

Gil retired as the Deputy Fire Chief of the Hamilton Fire Department after 26 years of service. He was also a member of the Grimsby Curling Club and Track Niagara. Gil leaves behind many good friends to cherish his memory.

Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls visiting Thursday 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. A Funeral service in celebration of his life will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
