It is with heavy hearts that we announce his sudden passing on June 23, 2012, in his 78th year. Beloved husband, best friend and soulmate of Sylvia Mae for 57 years. Will be dearly missed by his children George Jr. (Donna), Joe (Petra Verwaal), Bob (Deb), and Sharon Karlewicz (Mark). Loving grandpa of Dominika, Michael, Adam, Jennifer, Cindy, Angie, Nicole, Adam and Danielle. Proud great-grandpa of Macaela, Emma, Marley, Addison and Liam. PreDeceased by his parents George Joseph and Agnes Veronica, and his brother John. Sadly missed by his sister-in-law Pat. Active member of The Knights of Columbus Council 5860 (Past Grand Knight) and of Sacred Heart Parish. Visitation will take place at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Avenue East on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. with Rosary at 8:30 p.m. Funeral Service is to be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church on Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
