Peacefully on Thursday, March 12, 2009, at Groves Memorial Community Hospital, Fergus after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Margaret for 64 years. Much loved father of Neal (Dorothy) and Linda (Brian). Loving grandfather to Katherine, Jonathan and Christopher.

Retired as District Chief from Hamilton Fire Department after 34 years of service. WWII Veteran of the Royal Canadian Navy, 1942 - 1945. Private arrangements have taken place. Reception to be held in Pine Meadows Clubhouse, R.R. #1; Belwood, ON.
