Peacefully at his home in his 86th
year. Beloved Husband and soulmate of Hilda. Loved Step-Father
of Michael and Sue Freshwater. Much loved Grandpa of Krist (Ken)
Pearce, Bryan Freshwater (Lea Plas), and Aly Freshwater (Dave
Dam). Devoted Great-Grandpa to Kiera, Lily and Jason Pearce,
Griffyn and Gavyn Freshwater, Carissa and Jenna Freshwater-Dam.
Predeceased by parents William "Gunner" and Verna Pearson and by
sister Ethel Easton.
Earl spent 35 years on the Hamilton Fire Department, retiring as Assistant Deputy Chief. Upon retirement he was able to show his beloved Quarter Horses, achieving many Grand Champioships in Open and Amateur trial and Halter classes. Past Director and Futurity President of O.Q.H.A. In addition he spent many happy summers at the cottage on Shawanaga Lake and Hunt Camp on Manatoulin. Will be missed by lifelong friends Maxine and Clyde Walmsley and Carol Hargrove. |
