Passed away at home on Wednesday, June 9, 2004, after a long illness. Beloved husband of 42 years to Joyce (nee Belbeck) "Sarge". Cherished father of Christine and Sal Bommarito, Scott and Kristal Dalgetty and Sean and Connie Dalgetty. Proud and loving Papa of Emilia, Nicholas, Patrick, Miranda and Lauren. Brother of Innes and Hugh. Predeceased by sisters Joan Smith (1988) and Kay Wilson (2004).

Dougald was a retiree of the City of Hamilton Fire Department with more than 32 years of service.

 He will also be missed by his cat Baci.

Friends may call at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 195 King Street West, Dundas, on Sunday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. A memorial Service will be held in the MARLATT DUNDAS CHAPEL on Monday, June 14th at 11 am. Cremation has taken place.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Hamilton Regional Cancer Clinic or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
