On July 7, 2004, Don Crooks rejoined his beloved Irene (October 2003). Loving father of Donna (Gord) Smart and Susan (Ian) Nesbitt. Proud grandfather of Mark Smart, Tracey (Gareth) Murphy, Jeff Smart, Scott Nesbitt, Tammy (Jason) Stephian, and Heather Nesbitt. Special greatgrandfather to Tristan Smart and Isaac Stephian.

Don served during WW II in the Royal Navy and retired from the Hamilton Fire Department in 1980.

Special thanks to Dr. R. Ohson, Family Physician; and especially to his angels at Meadowlands Retirement Residence.

At Don's request, there will be no visitation or service.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the C.N.I.B. would be appreciated by the family. Cremation has taken place with private interment.
