Sadly and peacefully, on February 7, 2009. Bob passed away wih his loving wife Judy by his side. Dear father to his son Jeff (Janice), and daughter Julie (John). Grandfather to his most loving granddaughter Nicole. Son-in-law to Evelyn Porty, brother-in-law to Dorothy (Pat), Ruth (Gerrie), brother to Keith (Judy) and Ken (Pat). Bob was a 35 years Vet of the Hamilton Fire Department, enjoyed to the last day of work.
 
A Special thanks to Dr. Leber and Dr. Bracolenti, the staff of Hematology and 3Z as McMaster Hospital, and also thanks to all of his friends neighbours and family.

Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, (322 Fennell Ave. East), on Monday, February 9, 2009 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9pm and Tuesday, February 10, 2009 from 11 to 1 pm with Service to follow in the Chapel at 1 pm. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the SPCA or McMaster Children's Hospital.
