Peacefully passed away at the Henderson General Hospital on November 4, 2005 in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Helen (McQueen) for 58 years. Dearly loved father of David (Carol) of Burlington and grandfather of Sarah, Kimberly and Meghan. He will be sadly missed by his brother Charles (Lorna) of Ancaster and sister-in-law Ruth (Jack Tryon) of Richmond Hill. Loved uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Bob prodly served with the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders of Canada (PL) 1939 - 1945 and, upon return, was a fire fighter for the City of Hamilton for 35 years. He was a member of Branch 163 of the Royal Canadian Legion, the 1st Battalion Argyll & Sutherland Association, and long standing member of the Delta United Church. He led a full and rich life and especially enjoyed travel, bowling and the Tiger-Cats.

Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the M.A. CLARK & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 567 Upper Wellington Street, Mount Hamilton, on Thursday, November 10, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm.

They wish to invite family and friends to a Celebration of Life at Delta United Church, 47 Ottawa Street North, on Saturday, November 12, at 2:00 pm.
