Passed
away on December 31, 2018 in his 81st year, at Cambridge
Memorial Hospital peacefully in his sleep after a long fought
illness. In the days leading up to his death, he was surrounded
by friends and family.

Maria; loving father of Christina and Paul. Cherished grand-
father of Holly, Anthony (Marta) and great-grandfather of
Charlie. Dear brother of Shirley (Frank) Steele and

(Michael) Guagneli, Howard O'Hara and Kevin (Lynne) O'Hara.
Bill
was born in Binbrook, Ontario and joined the Hamilton Fire
Department at the age of 18, rising to the rank of captain
before being named Deputy Fire Chief of the Cambridge Fire

in 1994 was elected to Cambridge City Council. He served one
term and did not seek re-election. Instead, Bill chose to spend
