		It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ron on April 9, 2023 in his 88th year
		Beloved husband to the late Jean (2015). Loving father to Carol Longland (John), Sharon Scime-Miarczynski (Maciej) and the late Fred (Elaine). Cherished Papa to Thomas (Rachael, Curtis (Ryleigh), Travis (Mikayla), Christopher (Tianna, Lucas, Emily and Allison and "G-Pa" to Daxton. Dear brother to Grace (Jim), Kasandra (Nathan) and the late Marian (Bill). Ron was a proud retired Fire Fighter with the City of Hamilton and has answered his last alarm. His family will receive friends at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave E. on Friday, April 14th from 6 pm to 8 pm. A service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, April 15th at 11 am to 12 pm, in the chapel. Donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated
