June 23, 1937 - September 24, 2016 It is with great sadness that we announce that Ken peacefully passed away after a lengthy illness at St Joseph's hospital on Sept--. Beloved husband of Donna for 39 years and loving father of Jeffrey (Monica). Brother to Ron (Marg) and Garry predeceased, sister Ruby Veerdonk (Helmus), brother-in-law to Aubie Berg (Andrea) and many nieces and nephews.

Ken was a proud member of the Hamilton Fire Dept and retired as Chief Fire Prevention Officer.

Funeral service was held on September 25th. Shiva (family visitation) will be held at 300 Rexford Dr. Unit 10, on September 26th, 27th, and 28th, from 1-3 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers those who wish, memorial donations can be made to the Cancer Assist Program 569 Concession St. Hamilton, or the Kidney Foundation, 35 Goderich Rd., Hamilton.
