Passed away peacefully, after a brief illness, at Heritage Green Nursing Home on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at the age of 86.

Beloved husband to the late Julain (2006). Loving father of Jeffery (Brenda) and Jodi. Survived by his sister-in-law Judy Strecker (Henry). Will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to the amazing staff at Heritage Green Nursing Home, Marvin and his angels for the visits, as well as all of his family and friends who came to visit Joseph.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at Stoney Creek Legion Branch 622, 12 King St. E., Stoney Creek on Saturday, September 9, 2017 from 1-4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations to John Calvin Hungarian Church, Heart and Stroke Foundation or Cancer Assistance Program would be appreciated.
