Jerome "Jerry" Haynes

July 15, 1936 - July 28, 2022

Service Dates

	April 27, 1957 to November 30, 1991

		Passed away peacefully at St Joseph Hospital on Thursday, July 28th at the age of 86
		Beloved husband of Shirley for 64 wonderful years. Loving father of Dana Haynes, and Jodi Baginski and her husband Mike. Proud and devoted grandfather of Brendan and Meghan. Predeceased by his sister Olive and brother Denver.
		Jerry will be lovingly remembered by his nephews, extended family, friends and former colleagues from the Hamilton Fire Department where he proudly served for over 30 years. He loved spending time woodworking in his barn in the backyard. He will also be remembered for his sense of humour, dry wit, his selflessness and most importantly, his devotion to his loving family.
		A Visitation to celebrate Jerry's life will take place at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Monday, August 1, 2022 from 6 - 9 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated.
