  Former Fireman dies at 56

Funeral Service will be held tomorrow for retired Hamilton Fire Department Captain Harrison "Harry" Glenny.

Mr. Glenny, 56 who retired from the department in March after 31 years of service, died yesterday.

"Harry was a good, solid officer. With Harry there was only one way to do things, the right way." said Deputy Fire Chief Frank Holk.

Mr. Glenny, who was made a captain in 1968, took an early retirement because of ill health. He joined the department after serving in the Second World War.

He is survived by his widow Shirley and three children. Funeral service, with an honour guard of Hamilton firefighters, will be at 2 p.m. at Truscott Brothers Funeral Home on Barton Street East.
