Suddenly on Wednesday, March 12, 2008, in his 65th year. Beloved husband of Valerie (nee Baron) and loving father of Andy (Crystal) and Michael. George will be sadly missed by his sisters Beatrice Myers and Vera Emmerson, his sister-in-law Debbie Myers and nephew Liam and niece Kate. Predeceased by his brother Ernie.

George was a lifelong member and Elder of Erskine Presbyterian church in Hamilton and was a retired Hamilton Firefighter.

Friends will be received by the family on Friday afternoon and evening from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 pm at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas, and Sunday afternoon from 1 until the time of George's Service at 3 o'clock at ERSKINE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 19 Pearl Street North, Hamilton. Private family interment in Woodland Cemetery on Monday.
