Earl Michael Grice January 22, 1936 - February 9, 2022

	November 4, 1961 to June 30, 1992

It is with great sorrow that the family announces that Earl passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday February 9, 2022, at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Donna for 64 years. Loving father of Terry, Tom (Maureen), Brian, and Karen Uggenti (Bruno). He is survived by brother Jim (Sue) and his sister Sharon Gowland (Mike). Predeceased by brothers Larry (the late Marylynne) and Mike (Gail). Also survived by sister in-laws Beverly Nusca (the late Lino) and Joan Cooke (Ed). Earl will be missed by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Earl started his career as a bricklayer and later joined the Hamilton Fire Department. He was a devoted and proud Fire Fighter retiring after 31 years of service with the Hamilton Fire Department. He spent many enjoyable years with the Fire Department Band. His retirement years were spent in Florida with many friends and family. If desired, donations made in Earl’s memory are appreciated to Hamilton Fire Fighters Assoc. – Charities or Hamilton Health Sciences - Burn Unit.   Visitation will be held at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home, 796 Upper Gage Ave, Hamilton, on Tuesday February 15, 2022 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday February 16th at 11am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 305 East 37th St, followed by a burial at Resurrection Cemetery in Ancaster. Due to COVID 19, those wishing to attend any services for Earl must RSVP on the funeral home website or by calling 905-388-4141.
