Suddenly, after a long illness Donald passed away at St. Peter's Hospital on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the age of 73. He was the son of John and Florence and loving stepfather Arthur Chiasson. He leaves behind brother Greg (Lillian), sisters Adele Carey (Louie Porier) and Cecelia Chiasson as well as many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Donald was a veteran of the Hamilton Fire Department for over 30 years. He was a long-standing member of the Knights of Columbus and held numerous positions. He was a longtime baseball coach in Hamilton for over 30 years, a passion that he loved especially with the youth. He was also a past member of the Hamilton Optimist Club where he served as President for two years in the mid seventies. Private family prayers will be held.
