Peacefully at home, on November 7th, 1986, Clarence Ralph Alexander, in his 73rd year. Dearly loved husband of Pauline Somerauer, loving father and father-in-law of Joan and the late Donald Hooton, Alvin and Joanna Alexander, Trudy and Peter Lecierc and Brenda Lee and Randy Marcotte. Dearly loved Grandpa and Papa of Cheryl and Patrick Hooton, Lisa and Eric Alexander, Steven and Amy Leclerc and Jennifer and Bryan Marcotte. Sadly missed by his sisters, Muriel Parker, Marg Hyslop and Audrey Amorosi and his brother Cyrill Alexander and his good friends. Predeceased by his beloved parents, Robert and Mary Alexander and his brothers, Alvin, Sid and Robert.


Clarence (Alex) was a Hamilton Firefighter for 32 years, retiring in 1974.

He was a man to be remembered.

A Memorial Service will be held at the J.B. Marlatt Funeral Home, 615 Main Street East (east of Sanford), on Monday, November 10, 1986, at 7:30 pm. Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Red Cross Association or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
