Donald "Bob" Robert Konkle May 29, 1938 - October 22, 2025 Fire Chief - Ancaster Fire Department

		Peacefully passed away in his 88th year at St. Peter's Hospital at Chedoke, after a lengthy battle with dementia. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Lois; his daughter, Leslie; and his cherished grand-pups, Beya, Rita, and Nayla. He will also be remembered by extended family and friends, especially his cousin Steven (Sharon). The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the amazing, caring, and dedicated staff at St. Peter's at Chedoke - Dogwood Terrace - for the compassion, humour , and love they shared with Bob during his time there. Bob retired in 1996 from the Ancaster Fire Department after 34 years of dedicated service, having proudly held the title of Fire Chief. Arrangements have been entrusted to Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations ca be made to the Hamilton SPCA or a local animall shelter.
